We had a wonderful Christmas vacation. We started out going to the farm. Laura and I arrived on Friday and so did the Ballowes. Treston had a great time playing with his cousins. Both Laura and I got out to do some work. Treston enjoyed his first Christmas however, he was too sleepy for the late night gift opening. He got his first tractor at the farm! His Grandma and Grandpa also got him a horse on wheels that he just loves.
On Christmas day, everyone went to Grandma Esther's. The White Elephant gifts were a lot of fun. We got the movie "Mulan" and a bottle of sparkling wine. Treston was shy at first and wouldn't let go of my legs.
The Crawfords came early Monday morning and the Dahls came later on that day. It was fabulous having so many relatives together. We opened more gifts, and I think everyone had a good time. We also met up with some of Laura's high school friends that we have gotten back in touch with. It was fun to meet spouses, a new baby boy and just catch up a bit! Tab also came to the farm for a quick chat on her way back to the Cities.
Tuesday morning we had Treston's one year pictures and the cousins picture. Treston appeared to be posing at the beginning of his one year picture shooting, but seemed to tire of it by the time his cousins were ready for the group picture. We left from there to the Seversons.
We relaxed for a bit and then opened gifts that night. This was the first gift opening Treston was awake for, but only for part of it! We opened the rest for him the next day. He had fun chasing the dogs and accidently knocked Jasmine, Adam and Andrea's dog, on the floor! Everyone had fun playing with Treston and they showed him haow to play with his new toys even when he was napping:)
We had a great time seeing everyone and we thank everyone again for all the gifts! I must say though, once you have a child with Christmas gifts, the car really gets full!
