Treston's First Day of Pre-School!

What is this? Our little guy looks sheepish! He had a great first day and the teachers said he did well.

Life is Good

Well, as some of you know, I have been planning
a surprise paint job while Drew was at a basketball camp. I asked Jodi
if she would want to help and she said sure and then I called
my Mom and and asked if she wanted to come down with my sister Janel,
but she had to work. Janel came with Kendra + Mikki. I had talked to my other sister
Jamie and she was bummed-she had to stay at her house for her sons' football camp.
Well, Jodi, Janel and I were painting and we heard a familiar voice say, "Do you need more paint?"
There Jamie came with Eva! That is the most surprised I have been in a long time!
I was told I blushed to my t-shirt line! I think I had a huge smile on
my face for awhile! It is always so much fun painting with at least one other person, but
three was awesome! Drew says he likes it, but I think it may have more meaning for me.
I told a lot of friends I was painting-Jodi was the only one there. Janel did not even
think twice about coming down from the farm, which I know she loves being at and Jamie
drove 6 hours just to help me out so I could get this done for Drew and also saved our
butt with the extra paint! Every now and then I am reminded how great BOTH
of our families are. Drew's parents took our kids for a couple of days last week so we could
relax and re-coup from our kids this summer. Kai and Sherry helped with that adventure as well!
We went to Lucas's baptism and everyone helped with our kids to distract them and
entertain them. Our nieces and nephews helped watch our kids whenever the need arose.
Molly & Jason watched our kids so we could canoe this summer again! The list goes on and on!
So, I hope all of you know how much we love you and appreciate you and we know how blessed
we are to have such GREAT families! Thanks again and I just hope we can return it to
everyone in the future

Here is the finished painting job when you come in from the front door.

Here is the finished hall-we really had to lighten the paint
so it was not too dark.

Here is the kitchen border free:)
