Kids say the funniest things!

I worked in the nursery at the YMCA this Monday and I truly earned my money that day! At one time I had nine kids! Two were under one and the rest were under four. Anyway, I survived that with the help of my boss and then was left with Treston and this four year old boy. I was talking with this boy about boy things like cars, trains, and whatever else. Then, he looks at me and says, "Are you going to have another baby?" I say, "Yes, I am." He says, "Is that why you're kinda fat?" Yup, that'd be why. I guess I should feel good that he felt comfortable enough to ask me that.

That aside, my doctor appointment went well and I start going every week now, so it is getting close! I am really starting to organize (or nest) a lot this week, so we'll see how much I get done!

It has been awhile...

Wow! Where did the summer go! We have had a pretty eventful summer and it is time to play catch up on our blog! We were without a camera cable for awhile, so that was part of the hold-up. We enjoyed many activities this summer such as: the Severson vacation in Lake City, MN; the Barninum circus in Algona; a trip to Idaho to visit my brother with my mom and siblings; multiple visits to the farm and many great times had with cousins for Treston; visits to Adam + Andrea's new home; visits to Aunt Margaret; a garage sale that Shirley & Vance helped with; many visits from family and friends to our new home; a reunion with La Crosse friends and many great family days around our new home in Algona.

I also got a very part-time job at the YMCA and we are enjoying our membership there. Drew is back at school and having a pretty interseting year so far! I am not sure if he will ever have a year where it is not interesting though... We are ready for the new baby to come-I guess I may be more ready just because there seems to be no more room! Everything looks great with the baby though, so I shouldn't complain! Treston is learning new words all the time and is repeating names of family members and friends really well! We are hoping he adjusts OK with the new baby-I bet he will adjust better than Josie! My mom came down and did canning, since I may cease any long trips in the car just because you never know what is going to happen with babies! I am hoping to go early like last time, we'll have to see. Well, I will leave you with a few favorite pics from the summer. I am in the process of posting on Kodak Gallery, but there will be a couple hundred! I thought that may be too many for the blog! Enjoy!
